Definitely! I love the part in the Return of the King after the battle where Merry's lying under a dead dude, and Pippin like, throws the dead guy off him and is like "MERRY! NO! LIIIIIIVE!" and Merry's like, "I...am...alive. ... Kind of." and Pippin's like "Joy to the world!" And everyone's happy! (Almost.)
